1. This is a notice of a public ruling made under section 91D of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

2. Public ruling BR Pub 08/01 entitled "GST – When the supply of leasehold land is an exempt supply" was issued on 23 June 2008. BR Pub 08/01 applies for an indefinite period beginning 1 February 2006. It will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 20, No. 7, of August 2008.

Local Government (Ruapehu District Council) Delegation of Powers Notice 2008

Pursuant to section 360 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Local Government (Ruapehu District Council) Delegation of Powers Notice 2008.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after it is published in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Delegation of powers—The powers authorising the Minister of Local Government, under section 358 of the Local Government Act 1974, to authorise any person to construct a bridge across any river, creek, stream or lake, the bed of which is vested in the Crown, and to maintain that bridge for such period as the Minister thinks fit, and to occupy for such period as the Minister thinks fit such portions of any road or Crown land as seems to him to be necessary as a site for that bridge, are hereby delegated to the Ruapehu District Council in relation to the Ruapehu District as may be defined from time to time.
