Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is Reserve—Mount Kakepuku, Waipa District

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waipa District Council hereby gives notice that the following resolution was passed by the council on 11 March 2008.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waipa District Council hereby resolves that the parcel of land held by Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Change of the Classification of Parts of Reserves

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the First Schedule from recreation reserve to scenic reserve and changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Second Schedule from scenic reserve to recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the Act.
