The main rolls are printed for each electoral district to
enable members of the public to check them. The rolls list
electors who are enrolled on a date specified for the closing
of the rolls. This notice specifies 24 August 2007 as that
date. The rolls will be printed as soon as practicable after
that date.

Obligation Instrument for the Local Residential
Telephone Service for the Period Between
1 July 2005 and 30 June 2006

On 9 July 2007, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”)
released its Draft Determination for the Telecommunications
Service Obligation Instrument for Local Residential Service
(“TSO Instrument”) for the period between 1 July 2005
and 30 June 2006.

The Commission, acting pursuant to section 86(a) of the
Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), prepared the draft
determination in respect of the matters set out in section 88
of the Act for the TSO Instrument.

Pursuant to section 86(b) of the Act, the Commission gives
public notice of its draft determination.
