Hamilton’s Fraser High School (135) Board of Trustees Parent Representatives Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to clauses 9(3) and 9(3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby declare invalid the election for the parent representatives for the Hamilton’s Fraser High School Board of Trustees held on 29 March 2007, require a new election to be held on 7 September 2007 and declare that the trustees who held office on 29 March 2007 remain in office until the close of the day before the day when the new trustees take office.

This notice takes effect on the day of notification.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(iii) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 1 March 2006, which was granted under those Regulations to Paul Whitaker in respect of CityKids Tauranga (30059), situated at 102 Hamilton Street, Tauranga Central, Tauranga.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Carmel College, Auckland.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 17 May 2007.

Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998

Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 6) 2007 (No. F406)

Pursuant to Regulation 10 of the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998, the Programme Manager (Deed of Settlement Implementation Programme) at the Ministry of Fisheries (acting pursuant to a delegated authority in accordance with section 41 of the State Sector Act 1998) gives the following notice:

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 6) 2007.

(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Interpretation—In this notice:

(a) "customary food-gathering" has the same meaning as defined in Regulation 2 of the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998;

(b) "Tangata Kaitiaki" are local dialect words that have the same meaning as "Tangata Kaitiaki/Tiaki", a term that is defined in Regulation 2 of the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998;

(c) "Tangata Kaitiaki" means the person or persons appointed under Regulation 10 of the Fisheries
