Notice of Granting an Open Aviation Market Licence

Pursuant to section 87U(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 22 September 2004, notice is given that, having received an application from Airwork Holdings Limited, of Auckland, New Zealand, John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Access & Services in the Ministry of Transport, has granted the airline an open aviation market licence to carry on scheduled services and non-scheduled flights between New Zealand and Australia, and between points in Australia for an indefinite term with effect from 30 April 2007.

Telecommunications Act 2001

Notification of Initiation of the Standard Terms Development Process for Telecom’s Unbundled Bitstream Access Backhaul Under the Telecommunications Act 2001

Pursuant to section 30D of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), the Commerce Commission ("Commission") gives public notice that it has decided, under section 30C of the Act, to initiate the standard terms development process in respect of the designated access service described as "Telecom’s unbundled bitstream access backhaul" ("the service").

Under section 30C(1) of the Act, the Commission may, on its own initiative, initiate the standard terms development process for a designated access service.

Under section 30C(2) of the Act, the Commission is satisfied that the applicable conditions in relation to the service have been met as a standard terms development process was initiated under subpart 2A of Part 2 in respect of Telecom’s unbundled bitstream access on 22 February 2007.

Date of Decision: 27 April 2007.
