(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after
the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Approval as requiring authority—Riverstone Holdings
    Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority under
    section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 in
    respect of the particular project or work described in clause 3,
    being the monorail railway line part of the "FiordlandLink
    Experience".

  2. Monorail railway line—The particular project or work
    for which this approval is granted is the construction and
    operation of a monorail railway line along a route from
    Mavora Lakes Road (commencing adjacent to the swing
    bridge over the Mararoa River 3 kilometres up river
    from the Kiwi Burn Stream), to Te Anau Downs, Fiordland
    on the Te Anau–Milford State Highway (the terminus
    site being the current site of the Best Western Hotel and
    other facilities at the boat harbour on the eastern edge of
    Lake Te Anau).

Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Amendment Notice 2007 (No. F398)

Pursuant to section 188 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Manager Deepwater and National Issues, Ministry of Fisheries
(acting pursuant to delegated authority in accordance with section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988), gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title—(1) This notice is the Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Amendment Notice 2007 and is part of the principal notice.

(2) In this notice, "principal notice" means the Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Notice 2005 (No. F350)*.

  1. Commencement—This notice comes into effect on 1 April 2007.

  2. Part 1 of Schedule 2—Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the principal notice is amended by:

(a) Deleting all reference to conversion factors for "oreos" and inserting the following:

  1. Part 2 of Schedule 2—Part 2 of Schedule 2 of the principal notice is amended by deleting item 25 and substituting the
    following item:

Skate and ray wings—The conversion factor for wings for skates and rays is 2.65.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which comes into force on 1 April 2007, amends the Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Notice 2005 (No. F350)*:
The notice makes the following changes:

(a) A conversion factor of 2.65 for rays in the wings state is introduced;

(b) The generic "oreo" dressed conversion factor is deleted;

(c) A conversion factor of 2.15 for dressed smooth oreos is introduced; and

(d) A conversion factor of 2.35 for dressed black, spiky and warty oreos is introduced.
