These airworthiness directives shall come into force on 22 February 2007.

The following emergency airworthiness directive was issued with an effective date as follows:

Notification of Proposal to Make Ordinary Rules

In accordance with section 34(1)(a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of her intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules:

CAR Part 125—Air Operations–Medium Aeroplanes

  • The purpose of this rule making proposal is to update the existing Part 125 rules pertaining to single engine instrument flight rules (SEIFR) passenger operations, which require an Engine Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) to be fitted to aircraft performing SEIFR passenger operations (NPRM 07-06, CAA Docket 4/CAR/7).

Notice of Making of a Recommendation and Assessment Concerning the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 – Rule Amendment Proposal No. 36, 2007

  1. This notice of a recommendation and assessment concerning the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 ("Rules"), Rule Amendment Proposal No. 36, 2007, is issued by the Electricity Commission ("Commission"), established under the Electricity Act 1992 ("Act"), pursuant to section 172E(2)(c) of that Act.

  2. Section 172E(2)(c) of the Act provides that, no later than 10 working days after making a recommendation concerning the Rules to the Minister of Energy, the Commission must publicise the recommendation and the assessment completed under section 172F of the Act.

Recommendation

  1. On 15 February 2007, the Commission made a recommendation that various rules in Part A and Sections II and III of Part G of the Rules be amended, and that a new Schedule G9 be inserted.
