Classification and Vesting of Reserves

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserves described in the Schedule as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the reserves and vests the reserves in the Waitaki District Council, in trust for those purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
Notifying the Manner of Disposal and How
to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a road reserve over the land described in the Schedule with effect that the land may be disposed of by the South Waikato District Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

Naming of a Reserve at Orepuki—Southland District

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Southland District Council hereby gives notice that a resolution to the following effect was passed by Council on 12 December 2007:

“That pursuant to Section 16(10) of the Reserves Act 1977 the Southland District Council hereby declares that the land vested in Council, and described as Section 4 Block XI and Section 1 Block XIII Town of Hirstfield, containing 2.9415 hectares and being part Computer Freehold Register SL9B/55, shall henceforth be known as Aropaki Recreation Reserve.”
