Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Tauranga City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway 1, Mercer–Long Swamp, Meremere, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is to be stopped and, pursuant to section 52, set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown;

(c) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice is to be stopped and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
