Notice of Application to Register a Trade Name

Product (Notice No. 26)

Pursuant to section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds
and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General
of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority hereby gives
notice that the following application has been made to
register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the
Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997:

Trade Name: Ingelvac Circoflex

Reference: A009935

Active Ingredient and Concentration: Each 1mL dose
contains:
Porcine circovirus type 2 ORF2 protein
Max RP 3.75

Formulation Type: Injectable suspension

General Use Claim: For active immunisation of pigs
from two weeks of age and older as an aid in the
prevention and control of Porcine circovirus type 2
associated diseases caused by Porcine circovirus
type 2.

Any person may make a written submission to the
director-general, under section 17 of the Agricultural
Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, concerning
the application notified above.

Such submissions:

(a) must state in full the reasons for making the
submission;

(b) may state any decision sought on that application;

(c) must be received by the director-general no later
than 30 working days after the date of notification
in the New Zealand Gazette; and

(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.

A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the
applicant for its information.

Appointments to the New Zealand Artificial

Limb Board

Pursuant to section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the
Acting Minister for Social Development and Employment
has appointed

to be a member and chair of the New Zealand Artificial
Limb Board for a period of three years commencing on
15 November 2007; and

Professor Richard Sainsbury, of Lyttelton

to be a member of the New Zealand Artificial Limb Board for
a period of three years commencing on 15 November 2007.

Statement of Export Credit Office Financing

Guarantee Given Under the Public Finance

Act 1989

Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989,
the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

“On 1 August 2007, I, The Honourable Dr Michael John
Cullen, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown,
gave a New Zealand Export Credit Office Financing
Guarantee to the ANZ National Bank Limited in
relation to 1 year letters of credit, totalling EUR
6,688,878.95. The New Zealand Export Credit Office
Guarantee provides cover for defined commercial
and political risks in order for a New Zealand exporter
to offer finance terms to its buyer. A premium,
commensurate with the risk, was paid by the ANZ
National Bank for this Guarantee.”
