The proposals are part of the current Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) trans-Tasman work programme. The work programme is a key part of implementing the New Zealand Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy.
For each proposal, consultation documents will be released to provide analysis of the costs and benefits for New Zealand and, where applicable, Australia.
A period of public consultation of not less than 28 days will follow the release of each consultation document, during which submissions will be invited.
More information about each proposal – including consultation documents, dates for public meetings, and timelines for making a submission – will be available on the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) website

Environmental Risk Management Authority
Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996
Notice of Approval of a Code of Practice
Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“HSNO Act”), the Environmental Risk Management Authority gives notice that it has approved the Department of Labour Code of Practice for Pressure Equipment (Excluding Boilers) as a code of practice under the HSNO Act.
This code is a means of compliance with clauses 73(3)(a)(iv), (b)(iv), (c)(iv) and (d)(iii) of Schedule 8 to the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004 (as amended).
This code can be inspected at the Wellington office of ERMA New Zealand, Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, or the Office of The New Zealand Refining Company Limited, Marsden Point, Whangarei.

Land and Easements Acquired—Reservoir Road, Kaikohe
Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Charles William Le Breton, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into:
(a) The land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for water supply purposes;
(b) The easements in gross described in the Second, Third and Fourth Schedules to this notice are hereby acquired as set out in Schedule 4 to the Land Transfer Regulations 2002.
