Notification of Receipt of Standard Term Proposals
From Telecom for the Unbundled Copper Local
Loop Network Backhaul (Telephone Exchange to
Interconnect Point) and Unbundled Bitstream
Access Backhaul Services Under the
Telecommunications Act 2001

Pursuant to section 30I(b) of the Telecommunications Act
2001 ("the Act"), the Commerce Commission ("the
Commission") gives public notice that it has received
proposals from Telecom Corporation of New Zealand
Limited for the unbundled copper local loop network
backhaul (telephone exchange to interconnect point) and
unbundled bitstream access backhaul services.

proposed to be included in the standard terms determination.

Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act 2000

2007/2010 Proposed Amendments to Energy
Efficiency (Energy Using Products)
Regulations 2002

Pursuant to section 36 of the Energy Efficiency and
Conservation Act 2000, the Minister of Energy gives the
following notice.

The Minister of Energy proposes to mandate new or
increased standards, or revisions or amendments to existing
standards, for the energy performance of the products listed
below.

If the proposals proceed, they will result in amendments to
the Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations
2002.

  • Beverage vending machines
  • Close control air conditioners
  • Clothes dryers – standby energy
