Revocation of Direction Issued to AgriQuality Limited

Pursuant to section 5(1)(b) of the State Owned Enterprises (AgriQuality Limited and Asure New Zealand Limited) Act 2007, a direction was issued to AgriQuality Limited on 17 September 2007 by shareholding Ministers revoking, with effect from 1 October 2007, the earlier direction of 30 July 2007 which directed AgriQuality Limited not to provide export red meat inspection services.

Merger of Kumeroa-Hopelands School (2589) and Kohinui School (2881)

Pursuant to section 156A of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Kumeroa-Hopelands School (2589) and Kohinui School (2881) will merge on 27 January 2008.

Kumeroa-Hopelands School will be the continuing school.

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, acting through the Group Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Joseph’s Catholic School, Whakatane.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 20 September 2007.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the local office of the Ministry of Education, Level 4, 1144 Pukaki Street, Rotorua.
