Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992

Application for New Marine Mammal Tourism Permit

Fullers Bay of Islands has applied for a permit to view
marine mammals (excluding bottle nose dolphins) by boat
from their two existing commercial tourism sightseeing
cruises, the Cape Brett “Hole in the Rock” and the “Cream
Trip Super Cruise”.
Application details can be obtained from the Department of
Conservation offices in Russell.
Any submissions on the application are to be sent
to the Director-General of Conservation, Department of
Conservation, Northland Conservancy Office, PO Box 842,
Whangarei 0140, to be there by Thursday, 11 October 2007.
Note: Submissions are part of a statutory process and may
be commented on by the applicant.
