as members of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority
Board.
These appointments will commence on 17 July 2006 and
expire on 16 July 2009.

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Te Kura o Te Whakarewarewa (2081)
Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct
the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory
manager for the Te Kura o Te Whakarewarewa Board of
Trustees because of the risks to the operation of the school
and the welfare of its students.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are
to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
- All functions, powers and duties of the board as an
employer (whether statutory or otherwise); - all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage
financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise); - all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage
and control all property and assets; and - board organisation and management.
A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on
the following:
- Any future application for re-designation through section
156 of the Education Act 1989.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.

The following notice is issued pursuant to Regulation 4 of the
Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993.
- Approved Organisation
Advanced Global Communications Limited has been
approved to test devices against the standards issued
for automatic location communicators in circulars,
pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Fisheries (Satellite
Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993. The address for
Advanced Global Communications Limited is 13C
Ride Way, Albany, Auckland, or by post to
P.O. Box 30-252, North Harbour, Auckland.
- Receipt of Devices for Testing
Devices for the testing by Advanced Global
Communications Limited shall be submitted to
the address detailed in point 1 above. A copy of the
submission documentation shall be sent to the following
Ministry of Fisheries address and be marked to
the attention of the Vessel Monitoring Systems
(VMS) Application Manager, Ministry of Fisheries,
ASB Bank House, 101-103 The Terrace (P.O. Box
1020), Wellington.
- Devices to be Submitted
Devices submitted for testing are to be comprised
of both the hardware and software components as
detailed in Circulars One (Certification Requirements
for Inmarsat-C Automatic Communication Location
Communicators) and Two (Certification Requirements
for ARGOS Automatic Communication Location
Communicators) issued pursuant to Regulation 4 of
the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations
1993.
