4 Permissions required for application or use of a substance

(1) No person may apply or otherwise use the following hazardous substances unless the person first obtains a permission under section 95A of the Act from the Authority:

  • granular material containing 15 g/kg s-methoprene
  • pellet containing 42.5 g/kg s-methoprene.

(2) The control specified in subclause (1) must be indicated by a secondary identifier and in the documentation required in places of work.

5 New control for paraquat

No person shall pack for sale or supply any of the following hazardous substances unless they contain a stenching agent and an effective emetic:

  • soluble concentrate containing 115 g/litre diquat as the dibromide salt and 135 g/litre paraquat as the dichloride salt
  • soluble concentrate containing 200 – 250 g/litre paraquat as the dichloride salt.

New control for permethrin

6 New control for permethrin

(1) No person may use the following hazardous substances for any purpose except for application on to wool products:

  • liquid containing 75 – 125 g/litre permethrin.

(2) The control specified in subclause (1) must be indicated by a secondary identifier and in the documentation required in places of work.
