Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the
East Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the
Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in
section 19 (1) (a) of the Act.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Recommendation That Land Be Set Apart as a
Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of
an urupa for the benefit of the Dewes Whanau.
