Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003

Podiatrists Further Scope of Practice and Fees Amendment Notice 2006

Pursuant to sections 11 (1), 12 (1) and Part 6, section 130 (1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
(“the Act”), the following notice is given.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Podiatrists Further Scope of Practice and Fees Amendment
    Notice 2006 and should be read in conjunction with the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 August 2004, No. 95,
    page 2402.
    (2) This notice comes into force on 11 May 2006.

  2. Scope of practice—Pursuant to section 11 (1) of the Act, the board specifies a further scope of practice to the four
    currently gazetted Scopes of Practice (Podiatrist, Podiatric Surgeon, Podiatric Radiographic Imager and Podiatric Prescriber),
    being the Scope of Practice of Visiting Podiatrist Educator defined in Schedule A.

  3. Scope of practice qualification—Pursuant to section 12 (1) of the Act, the board specifies the qualifications required for
    the Scope of Practice of Visiting Podiatrist Educator defined in Schedule B.

  4. Fees—Pursuant to Part 6, section 130 (1) of the Act, the Podiatrists Board sets the following fees, payable to the board,
    specified in Schedule C and Schedule D.

  5. Tax—The fee is inclusive of goods and services tax.
