Revocation of Notice of Direction for Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Piripono Te Kura Whakahou o Otara (4205)

The notice of appointment of a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Piripono Te Kura Whakahou o Otara (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 October 2004, No. 134, page 3304) is hereby revoked under section 78M (7) of the Education Act 1989.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of its publication.

Notice of Dissolution of the Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Piripono Te Kura Whakahou o Otara (4205) and Direction to Appoint a Commissioner

Pursuant to section 78N (1) of the Education Act 1989, I hereby dissolve the board of trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Piripono Te Kura Whakahou o Otara and direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a commissioner to replace that board.

Notice of Direction for Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Edmund Hillary School (1267)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Edmund Hillary School Board of Trustees because of risks to the educational achievement of its students and to the operation of the school.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage curriculum and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise).

The following condition applies to the exercising of the powers by the limited statutory manager:

• Staff appointments must be made in consultation with the board.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, under section 101 (7) of the Education Act 1989, I approve Wednesday, 14 June 2006, as the closing date for voting in the first elections of parent representatives and a staff representative for Reremoana School Board of Trustees.

I also approve Wednesday, 21 June 2006, as the date for the first meeting of the board of trustees.

Education (Early Childhood Centres)

Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 6 November 1998, which was granted under those Regulations to Janette Walker in respect of Epsom Childcare Centre (Claude) (20202), situated at 11 Claude Road, Epsom, Auckland.

This cancellation also has the effect of cancelling any provisional licence issued to this service.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration

Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

Hare Krishna School, Auckland.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 6 April 2006.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the local office of the Ministry of Education, 39-45 College Hill, Auckland.
