Industry Training Act 1992

Aviation Tourism and Travel Training Organisation Incorporated

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992,
full recognition is given to the Aviation Tourism and Travel
Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards on the
National Qualification’s Framework at Levels 1 to 8 for
the following industries:

Aviation – aeronautical engineering, aircrew operations,
aircrew training, control of aircraft operation, commercial
operations, airport operations, air traffic control and
aviation ground support services.

Museum – governance, management and planning (mana
whakahaere, mahi whakahaere, hanga tikanga), care and
management of collections and taonga (tiaki kohinga,
tiaki taonga), public programmes including exhibitions
(kaupapa tūmatanui), customer service including visitor
and market research (wāhanga āwhina tāngata), and
relationships with iwi and communities (te mahi tahi
me ngā huihuinga tangata).

Tourism – attractions, adventure providers, event and
conference organisers, retailers, regional tourism offices,
promotion boards, visitor information centres, casinos,
and tourism related activities of rental car operators,
campervan operators, railways and ferries, and local
bodies.

Travel – travel agents, reservation services, tour
wholesalers, inbound and outbound operators’ principal
and booking offices.

Public Sector Training Organisation

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992,
full recognition is given to the Public Sector Training
Organisation to set standards on the National Qualification’s
Framework at Levels 1 to 8 for the following industries:

The Public Service as listed in the First Schedule to
the State Sector Act; other organisations defined as
departments for the purposes of the Public Finance Act
1989; Offices of Parliament; Crown Entities defined as
Crown Agents, Autonomous Crown Entities, and
Independent Crown Entities; and the State-owned
Enterprise Quotable Value and Assure New Zealand.

Excluded from this coverage are: State-owned
Enterprises and Crown Companies except as specified
as above; Crown Entities which are direct providers of
health services (including hospitals, health boards etc),
direct providers of education services (including schools
and tertiary education institutions); Crown Research
Institutes; and New Zealand Fire Service Commission
and the Fire Service.

pursuant to an authority delegated to me, I, Paul Dickson
Burke, Group Manager Property, Ministry of Education,

Notice

    longer required for education purposes.

  2. This notice shall come into force on 9 March 2006.
