Pursuant to Civil Aviation Rules Part 71.9 (d), the following
amendments were designated with effect from 16 March
2006:

• NZD 722 (Nine Mile Creek) is disestablished and
  replaced by NZD 728 (Bishop Creek).

Pursuant to Civil Aviation Rules Part 71.9 (d), the following
amendments were designated with effect from 23 November
2006:

• NZD 024 (Auckland Oceanic FIR) is established.

Prescribed pursuant to Part 71 of the Civil Aviation Rules,
under a delegated authority issued by the Director of Civil
Aviation.

Environmental Risk Management Authority

Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996

Notice of Approval of Code of Practice

Pursuant to section 79 (5) of the Hazardous Substances
and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk
Management Authority advises that it has approved a
Code of Practice for Approved Handler’s Certificates
Explosives.

This code is intended to provide a means of compliance with
the regulatory requirements of clauses 5 (1) (a), 5 (1) (b),
5 (1) (d), 5 (1) (h), 5 (1) (i) and 5 (2) of the Hazardous
Substances and New Organisms (Personnel Qualifications)
Regulations 2001 in relation to explosives.

This code can be inspected at the Wellington office
of ERMA New Zealand (Level One, BP House,
20 Customhouse Quay) or the Christchurch office of the
NZ Extractive Industries Training Organisation (EXITO).
