The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) Amendment Notice No. 7

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

Clause 1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) Amendment Notice No. 7 and is part of The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3)I* (“the principal notice”).

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Clause 2. Principal notice amended—(1) The definition of “The Act” in clause 2 (1) of the principal notice is amended by replacing the words

"the Securities Amendment Act 1988"

with the words

"the Securities Markets Act 1988".

(2) Subparagraph (b) of the definition of “Electricity price futures contract” in clause 2 (1) of the principal notice is amended by replacing the words

"the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange"

with the words

"an authorised futures exchange".

(3) Clause 3 (2) (b) of the principal notice is amended by replacing the words

"the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange"

with the words

"an authorised futures exchange".

Clause 3. Schedule amended—The Schedule of the principal notice is amended by inserting, in its appropriate alphabetical order, the name

"Ellsoft Limited".

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Acting Conservator for the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve, Vesting of Reserve in the Southland District Council and Naming of Reserve

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the First Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further declares that the land in the First and Second Schedules be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, and vests the reserve in the Southland District Council in trust for that purpose and further declares that the recreation reserve described in the First and Second Schedules is to be known as the Ivon Wilson Park Recreation Reserve.
