Resource Management Act 1991

The Resource Management (Revocation of Approval of Telecom Mobile Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2006

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Revocation of Approval of Telecom Mobile Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2006.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Revocation of approval as requiring authority—The approval of Telecom Mobile Communications Limited as a requiring authority pursuant to The Resource Management (Approval of Telecom Mobile Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice (No. 1) 1993 for:

(a) every project or work in respect of which:

(i) a designation was, on 1 October 1991, deemed to be included in a district plan by virtue of section 420 (2) of that Act; and

(ii) Telecom Mobile Communications Limited is, by virtue of that section of that Act, deemed to be the requiring authority.

(iii) any line or lines, radio apparatus, and works of its network in respect of sites of which Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited (or any of its subsidiary companies as defined in the Companies Act 1955) or Telecom Mobile Communications Limited is an owner or the holder of any other estate or interest;

(iv) the operation, erection, installation, maintenance, replacement, alteration, and improvement of any such line or lines, radio apparatus, or works*

is hereby revoked on the basis that Telecom Mobile Communications Limited is no longer a network utility operator.

Appointments to Taranaki District Health Board and Southland District Health Board

Pursuant to section 29 (1) (b) of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, and under section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I appoint

Jan Margaret Dunlop
as a member of the board of Taranaki District Health Board;

and

Karen Islay Goffe
as a member of the board of Southland District Health Board.

Both terms of office commence on 7 December 2006 and end on 9 December 2007.

Pursuant to section 120 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, I reappoint

and appoint

Stiofán Mac Suibhne

as health practitioner members to the Osteopathic Council for a term of three years commencing on 1 December 2006;

and appoint

Matthew Cooper

as a health practitioner member to the Osteopathic Council for a term of three years commencing on the date of this notice.
