Notice Redefining Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (5) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto has been set apart as a Māori reservation by notice in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 April 1965, No. 20, page 554, is hereby redefined as being a papakainga and marae for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Raniera Wharerau.

Redefining Māori Freehold land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purpose of the Māori reservation as set out in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 August 1963, No. 47, page 1121, is redefined in the Schedule hereto as Māori freehold land and is set apart for the purpose of a marae to be known as the Makaurau Trust Reservation for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ahiwaru, Waiohua and Ngati Mahuta tribes.
