All land encompassed by the following peripheral line:

From Mandeville at the corner of the Waimea Valley Road and State Highway No. 94 along the Waimea Valley Road to the Glenure corner. Follow the Dipton-Balfour Road west to Ben Callum Road, then a direct line south-west along farm boundaries to the origin of the Winton Stream, down this stream to Matthews Road, to the Benmore/Otapiri Road and along the Benmore/Otapiri Road to Calder Road. From the Calder Road Benmore/Otapiri Road intersection directly across to Blank Road, then down Blank Road to the Otapiri Road. Then via Otapiri Road, Shand Road, Otapiri Gorge Road, Browns/Otapiri Road and Hokonui School Road, to its continuation as Scott Road, then to the end of O’Connor Road, across farmland on the farm boundary to the unformed Springhills Siding Road, then along this road to the crossroads with Highway No. 96, along the Springhills-Tussock Creek Road, Tussock Creek-Grove Bush Road, Hanning Road and the short distance on Rakouhaka-Hedgehope Road, to Garvie Road then Mabel-Woodstock Road east to Woodstock Road and down Horwell Road to the Old Dunedin Road. Then north-east along Old Dunedin Road to Downs Road south then via Ota Creek Road to State Highway No. 1 then south 1km down State Highway No. 1 to Coal Pit Road and Coal Pit Road to the corner of Johnston Road and directly east to the true right bank of the Mataura River. Then along the Mataura River north to the bridge on State Highway No. 1 at Gore and then State Highway No. 1 to McKinnon Road at McNab. Then via McKinnon Road, Whiterig Road, Otamita Road and across the bridge over the Mataura River at Otamita to State Highway No. 94 then back to Mandeville at the corner of Waimea Valley Road.

General Information

1. Any animal moved in contravention of this notice may be seized by an inspector or authorised person and destroyed, treated or otherwise dealt with, if it is reasonable in the circumstances to do so. The Animal Health Board may also recover the cost of testing for bovine tuberculosis pursuant to the Biosecurity Act 1993 and the Biosecurity (Deer and other testing costs) Regulations 1998.

2. Failure to comply with the requirements of this notice may result in prosecution under the Biosecurity Act 1993. If convicted, an individual will be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years, or a fine not exceeding $100,000.00, or both. A corporation convicted of an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding $200,000.00.

Revocation

The Declaration dated the 5th day of February 2004, in regard to movement controls for bovine tuberculosis and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 February 2004, No. 11, page 278 and also published in Straight Furrow on 11 February 2004, is hereby revoked, with effect from 1 March 2006. This Declaration has the effect of revoking the Western Southland Controlled Area and part of the Hokonui Controlled Area.

2006 European Union Sheepmeat and Goatmeat Revised Tariff Rate Quota Allocation

Pursuant to section 31 of the Meat Board Act 2004, notice is hereby given that the New Zealand Meat Board has allocated access to European Union Sheepmeat and Goatmeat Tariff Rate Quota for the 2006 Quota Year, commencing 1 January 2006.
