Coastal and Central Otago

All land encompassed by the following peripheral line:

From the Kurow River/Waitaki River Junction, up Kurow River to Grayson Peak at (grid reference NZMS 260-I41:004876) then a direct line south-east to Danseys Pass at (grid reference NZMS 260-I41:026805) then a direct line south-east to Kakanui Peak at (grid reference NZMS 260-I41:085606) then a direct line south-east to Beaconed Trig B at (grid reference NZMS 260-I42:116554) then to Mt Stalker at (grid reference NZMS 260-I42:175528) then east to Beaconed Trig Y at (grid reference NZMS 260-I42:274508) then east to the junction of Glencoe Road and Kennedy Road (near Herbert) then along Glencoe Road to State Highway No. 1 at Herbert. Then south along State Highway No. 1, to where State Highway No. 1 crosses the Waianakarua River (near junction between Waianakarua Road and State Highway No. 1) then along the true left bank of the North Branch of the Waianakarua River, then along the left bank of the Waianakarua River to the coast, then down the east coast to where State Highway No. 1 meets the coast near Shag Point. Then follow State Highway No. 1 south to Evansdale, then follow State Highway No. 1 to Pigeon Flat and junction with Leith Valley Road, follow Leith Valley Road, to junction with Islay Street. Then follow Islay Street, Fulton Road and Tanner Road to Wakari Road.

Follow Wakari Road to Taieri Road. Follow Taieri Road, then Three Mile Hill Road to junction with Dalziel Road. Follow Dalziel Road, then Abbotts Hill Road, then follow North Taieri Road and Abbotsford Road to the outskirts of Green Island (township) then follow Kaikorai Stream to the coast. Then south along the coast to the mouth of the Matau Branch of the Clutha River, then up the true left bank of the Clutha River, Lake Roxburgh, the Clutha River, Lake Dunstan and the Clutha River again to Lake Wanaka then following the eastern shore of Lake Wanaka to the Neck that separates Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea. Then in a straight line east to Lake Hawea and then to the south-east following the western then southern then eastern shores of Lake Hawea to the mouth of the Timaru River. Then up the true left bank of the Timaru River to Mt Martha at (grid reference NZMS 260-G39:350371) then following the main dividing ridge between the Ahuriri and Dingle Valleys via Birch Hill, Mt Gladwish at (grid reference NZMS 260-G39:367495) to Mt Rigel at (grid reference NZMS 260-G38:355633). Then following the main dividing ridge between the Ahuriri Valley and the Hunter Valley via Mt Heim at (grid reference NZMS 260-G38:367651) Mt Barth at (grid reference NZMS 260-G38:383664) Mt Wyn Irwin at (grid reference NZMS 260-G38:397708) to Mt Huxley at (grid reference NZMS 260-G38:440765) then north-east along the main divide to Mt Sealy. Then south along Ben Ohau Range to Flanagan Pass at (grid reference NZMS 260-H38:650620) then down the true left bank of Dorey Stream to Lake Ohau then following the western shore of Lake Ohau and down the true right bank of the Ohau River to Lake Ruataniwha. Then following the Ohau canal from Lake Ruataniwha to Lake Benmore then following the western shores of Lakes Benmore, Aviemore and Waitaki and then down the true right bank of the Waitaki River back to the mouth of the Kurow River.

Pisa

All land encompassed by the following peripheral line:

From the bridge over the Clutha River on State Highway No. 6 at Albert Town down the true right bank of the Clutha River to the Tinwald Burn then via the Tinwald, Lochar and Basin Burns to the top of the Pisa Range near Lake McKay at (grid reference NZMS 260-G41:114884). Then south down the Pisa Range to Mt Dottrel (grid reference NZMS 260-F41:046793) then west and slightly north across the Criffel Range to the Crown Range Road at Blackmans Creek. Then to the Crown Range at (grid reference NZMS 260-F41:897821) then north along the range via Mt Cardrona, MacDonalds Peaks, Middle Peak and Mt Alpha to Roys Peak at (grid reference NZMS 260-F40:969051). Then following the boundary of Alphaburn Station east-north-east to the Mt Aspiring Road at (grid reference NZMS 260-F40:000058) then to the boat ramp opposite Ruby Island then east around the shores of Lake Wanaka and down the Clutha River to the bridge over the Clutha River on State Highway No. 6 at Albert Town.

Catlins

All land encompassed by the following peripheral line:

From the mouth of the Koau Branch of the Clutha River upstream to the road bridge at Balclutha and then following State Highway No. 1 to Pukerau, then south along the Pukerau-Kaiwera Road to Pullar Road, then west along Diamond Peak road to Nithdale Road. Then south-west to the junction of the Mataura-Clinton Road and Waikana Road and south along Waikana Road, Knowsley Park Road, Waiarikiki Road, Waiarikiki-Mimihau Road to the corner of Oware Road at Oware. Then via Oware Road to the corner with Woods Road, directly south-east to the corner of the Wyndham-Mokoreta and Scott Roads then directly south-west to the corner of Rabbidge and Stout Roads. Then directly south-east to the corner of Tyneholm and Woodslea Downs Road then via Woodslea Downs Road, Gibb Road, Braid Road and Carswell Road to Waimahaka-Fortification Road. Then east along Waimahaka-Fortification Road, Quarry Hills-Fortification Road, Fortification-Waikawa Valley Road and Crosbie Road to the corner with Waikawa Valley Road. Then north up Waikawa Valley Road to Scrubby Hill Road, along Scrubby Hill Road to the end of Granger Road and then directly to the Otago/Southland Regional Boundary line at Trig V Black Horn (grid reference NZMS 260-G47:201996). Then follow the Regional Boundary south to the coast and east and north along the coast to the mouth of the Koau Branch of the Clutha;

All land encompassed by the following peripheral line:

From the true right bank of the Clutha River opposite the mouth of the Minzion Burn at (grid reference NZMS 260-G44:331953) in a direct line to Spylaw Hill (grid reference NZMS 260-G44:320896) then directly to the junction of Gorge and Westwood Roads east of Crookston then directly south-east to Trig point U (grid reference NZMS 260-G44:300746), then south to Trig point G (grid reference NZMS 260-G45:228639). Then directly south-east to where the Rankle Burn enters the Pomahaka River (grid reference NZMS 260 G45:275570) and then following the true left bank of the Pomahaka River downstream to level with the end of Burkes Ford Road. Then along Burkes Ford Road and Pannets Road until it meets the Clutha River Road, then directly to the Clutha River at (grid reference NZMS 260-G45:389573). Then following the true right bank of the Clutha River to opposite the Minzion Burn.
