Land and Easement in Gross Acquired for a Recreation Reserve—480 Main North Road, Christchurch City

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(a) The land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and subject also to Gazette Notice 710585 declaring State highway fronting this land to be a limited access road, and shall vest in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) A right of way easement in gross described in the Second Schedule is hereby acquired over the land described in the Third Schedule to be held forever appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Description of Right of Way Easement (Council Access)

The full, free, uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty and privilege for the grantee, its servants, agents and workmen (in common with the grantor, its tenants and any other person lawfully entitled so to do) from time to time and at all times by day and by night to go, pass and repass with or without carriages, vehicles, motor vehicles, machinery and implements of any kind, over and along the land over which the right of way is granted or created.

Land Declared Road and Limited Access Road—State Highways No. 1 and No. 73, Main South and Carmen Roads, Christchurch City

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Declares the land firstly described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which shall vest in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Declares the land secondly described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(b) Declares the land described in the Second Schedule is to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
