Northland Fire Districts Notice, October 2006

Under section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the
New Zealand Fire Service Commission gives the following
notice.

Notice

1. This notice is the Northland Fire Districts Notice,
   October 2006.
2. This notice comes into force on the day of its publication
   in the New Zealand Gazette.
3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous
   fire district notices for the districts listed in the Schedule.

Constitution of Fire Districts

(a) The urban areas listed in the Schedule are constituted
as fire districts.

(b) The boundaries of the fire districts as listed are defined
and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters,
New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits

2003 (Rule 54001)
Transit New Zealand Act 1989

*Amendments to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2005/7
Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways**

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of
Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand
hereby amends the above bylaw as follows.

Amendments

1. These amendments shall come into force 28 days after
   their publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles
   on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:

(a) Deleting line 237 in Schedule 3 which reads:

"Transit NZ Region: 3

Locality: Pirongia
From (RP): 43/1.12 To (RP): 43/1.92
Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
Bellot Street to McClure Street.
Speed Restriction (km/h): 70

(b) Replacing line 238 in Schedule 3 to read:

4 October 2006.
