This code specifies requirements for polyethylene
above-ground vertical cylindrical stationary tanks which
store diesel.
Under clause 8 (2) (h) of Schedule 8 to the Hazardous
Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic
Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, above-ground stationary
tanks for hazardous liquids must be designed and
constructed in accordance with one of the Standards
listed in paragraphs 8 (2) (a)β(g) of that Schedule or a
code of practice approved by the Authority under section
79 of the Act.

Notice of Intention to Apply for Approval of Code
of Practice
Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New
Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management
Authority gives notice that RX Plastics Limited intends
to apply for the approval of the Code of Practice for
Rotationally Moulded Polyethylene Tanks to AS/NZS 4766
for Non Flammable Hazardous Substances.
This code specifies requirements for polyethylene
above-ground vertical cylindrical stationary tanks which
store oxidizing, toxic, corrosive or ecotoxic liquids that
are not flammable.
Under clause 8 (2) (h) of Schedule 8 to the Hazardous
Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic
Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, above-ground stationary
tanks for hazardous liquids must be designed and
constructed in accordance with one of the Standards
listed in paragraphs 8 (2) (a)β(g) of that Schedule or a
code of practice approved by the Authority under section

Pursuant to section 161 (3) of the Land Transport Act 1998,
notification is hereby given of the making of Land Transport
Rule: Heavy-vehicle Brakes 2006 (Rule 32015).
This Rule will come into force on 1 March 2007.
Land Transport Rule: Heavy-vehicle Brakes 2006 sets
out requirements to ensure that heavy vehicles and
heavy-vehicle combinations can brake safely, with balanced
brake performance, at any road-legal load condition.
The Rule is available for inspection free of charge at the
National Office of Land Transport New Zealand, 7 Waterloo

Constitution of Fire District
(a) The urban areas listed of Wanganui are hereby
constituted as a Fire District.
(b) The boundaries of the constituted fire district is defined
and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters,
New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.
