Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of that part of the Otatara Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Notice of Corrigendum to Notice Recommending a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of protecting its cultural and spiritual significance, to be known as the Hone Ngapua Māori Reservation for the common use and benefit of the owners, by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 June 2002, No. 67, page 1776, is hereby amended, pursuant to section 86 of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, to amend the said area set aside to be shown as:

4808m²

instead of:

1.0539ha

this being the correct area for all of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.

Setting Apart General Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the general land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of Joseph Gough and Eileen Gough and their descendants.
