Authorisation of the Exchange of a Reserve for Other Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of those parts of the recreation reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Classification and Union of Reserves

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the First Schedule as scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1)(a) of the Act, and further declares that on and after the date of publication of this notice, the reserves described in the First Schedule and Second Schedule shall be united to form one reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation over the land described in the Schedule as a local purpose (carparking and market) reserve and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Manukau City Council in such manner, at a price and on terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from a sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
