Road Realignment—State Highway No. 6,
Kawatiri–Glenhope, Glenhope
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation
from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert
Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described
in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which,
pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act
1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 6 and shall vest
in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the
New Zealand Gazette.
(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the road
described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be
stopped and further declares that:

(i) the area of stopped road firstly described shall
become part of the land in Gazette Notice 5861232.1
(Computer Interest Register 133192).
(ii) the area of stopped road secondly described shall
become part of the land in Gazette Notice 5861232.1
(Computer Interest Register 133193).
(iii) the area of stopped road thirdly described shall be
dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.
(iv) pursuant to section 52, the area of stopped road
fifthly described shall be set apart as scenic reserve
and shall remain vested in the Crown.
(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the road
described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped
and further declares the stopped road be added to the
Kahurangi National Park to be held for national park
purposes.
(d) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described
in the Fourth Schedule to this notice be taken for severance
and further declares that, pursuant to section 52, the land be
set apart as scenic reserve and shall remain vested in the
Crown.
