Electricity Act 1992
Notice of Prohibition
- the lack of earth continuity in the work light socket-outlet means that appliances supplied through this adaptor will have "its unearthed conductive parts separated from live parts only by basic insulation" (76A (1) (c)); and
- the work light supply cord conductors have an inadequate cross-sectional area for the rated output of the work light socket-outlet; this constitutes a hazard in that in normal use, or in the event of abnormal operation, it may function unsafely so as to cause danger in persons, property, or animals (76A (1) (a)).
Accordingly, I issue this prohibition.

Education Act 1989
Alternative Constitution for the Board of Trustees of Benneydale School (161)
Pursuant to section 105A of the Education Act 1989, I hereby approve the following constitution for the board of trustees of Benneydale School:
- the principal;
- up to three trustees appointed by the Minister of Education; and
- up to two trustees co-opted by the board.
The appointment or co-option of a trustee may be for a term not exceeding three years.
Trustees appointed to the first board established under section 105A of the Education Act will take office on 11 April 2005.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of its publication.

Notice of Disciplinary Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board
The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board ("the board"), having been directed by the board, in accordance with section 139 of the Electricity Act 1992 ("the Act"), gives notice of the following registered electrical worker having been disciplined by the board under Part 11 of the Act, and the effect of the order of the board under section 127 of the Act:
Alan Grigg, of Auckland, registration E 1540, has been found guilty of a disciplinary offence. The board ordered, pursuant to section 127 (2) (g) of the Act, that Alan Grigg pay to the board a fine of two thousand and fifty dollars ($2,050.00). The fine was to be paid by 20 January 2005.

The board ordered, pursuant to section 127 (2) (g) of the Act, that Keith William Maisey pay to the board a fine of one thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($1,750.00). The fine was to be paid by 20 January 2005.

Al-Madinah School (544), Auckland, Board of Trustees Student Election Invalidation Notice
Pursuant to clauses 9 (3) and 9 (3A) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby declare invalid the election for the student representative for the Al-Madinah School Board of Trustees held on 10 February 2005, require new elections to be held on 8 April 2005, and declare that the student representative holding office on 10 February 2005, the date of the invalid election, remain in office until the close of the day before the day on which the new trustee takes office.
This notice takes effect on the date of publication.

Interpretation Act 1999
Amendment to Hukarere College (435), Napier, Board of Trustees Student Election Invalidation Notice
Pursuant to section 15 (a) of the Interpretation Act 1999, I amend the notice (No. 8231), appearing in the New Zealand Gazette, 9 December 2004, page 3979 (declaring invalid the election for the student representative for the Hukarere College Board of Trustees held on 28 October 2004 and setting a date for a new election), by omitting the expression "4 March 2005"
and substituting the expression
"1 April 2005".
This notice takes effect on the day of notification.
