Reserves Act 1977

Change of the Classification of Parts of a Reserve, and Appointment of the North Shore City Council to Control and Manage a Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of those parts of the reserve described in the First Schedule from a recreation reserve to a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and also appoints the North Shore City Council to control and manage the reserve held for recreation purposes described in the Second Schedule, subject to the special condition that in the management of the reserve special recognition of the former military parade ground, a historic feature, is provided for and it is maintained as open space.

Declaration That Land is Reserve—Elizabeth Street, Taupo District

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Taupo District Council hereby gives notice that the following resolution was passed by council on 26 April 2005:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Taupo District Council hereby resolves that the parcels of land held by Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be, local purpose (stormwater management) reserves within the meaning of the said Act."
