Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947 and
section 5 (1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency
the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to
appoint

Dominic Flatley, solicitor of Christchurch

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise
the jurisdiction of the Family Courts on and from
8 December 2005.

Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003

Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 94 (2) of the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003, that a Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal has found against the following motor vehicle traders:

MVD No. Trader Decision
MVD 153/05 Sales Motor Group Limited Hamilton Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser $2,000.00 plus compensation of $587.90 plus any capital payments plus insurance refunds and costs of $50.00.
MVD 167/05 Vehicle Management Consultants Limited Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser $12,240.00.
MVD 172/05 Richard Battersby (trading as Lifestyle Autos) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $826.98 plus costs of $50.00.
MVD 175/05 Palmside Car Sales Limited (trading as Cut Price Cars) Ordered that the trader collect the vehicle at the trader's expense. Trader to pay the purchaser $23,560.20.
MVD 180/05 Ngamotu Finance Limited (trading as Auto Exchange) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $1,247.50 compensation.
MVD 192/05 Stock Street Motors & Marine Limited (trading as Apirana Motors) Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser $4,200.00 plus compensation of $1,192.17 plus insurance refunds and costs of $50.00.
MVD 209/05 Great Wall Motors (trading as The Great Wall NZ Co. Limited) Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser compensation of $890.00 plus any capital payments and costs of $50.00.
