Kennicutt Point
74°30′S Latitude, 165°29′E Longitude. The south entrance point of Wood Bay, Borchgrevink Coast. The point is 17km north of Cape Washington. Topographic Map: SS 58-60/9 Mount Melbourne (1:250,000).
Mount Arnaudo
84°04′S Latitude, 172°40′E Longitude. A mound-shaped ice-covered mountain 4km south of Mount Cyril in the northern part of Commonwealth Range. The feature rises to 1500m between the eastern margin of lower Beardmore Glacier and the Hood Glacier. Topographic Map: SV 51-60/4 The Cloudmaker (1:250,000).
Ponganis Icefall
73°32′S Latitude, 169°51′E Longitude. An icefall 1000m high and 2km wide on the east side of Coulman Island, Ross Sea. The icefall descends from Hawkes Heights caldera to the sea at Cape Main. Topographic Map: SS 58-60/6 Coulman Island (1:250,000).
Quetin Head
73°06′S Latitude, 169°26′E Longitude. A rock headland 6km south-west of Cape Phillips, Daniell Peninsula, Borchgrevink Coast. The headland rises to 900m and marks the eastern extent of Mandible Cirque. Topographic Map: SS 58-60/6 Coulman Island (1:250,000).
Seelig Peak
82°26′S Latitude, 163°58′E Longitude. An ice free peak, 1346m, the highest in the Campbell Hills, Nimrod Glacier, located 5km north-west of Mount Christchurch. Topographic Map: SU 56-60/10 Nimrod Glacier (1:250,000).
Terrie Bluff
77°31′36″S, 169°05′15″E. A rock bluff rising to 1000m, 3km south south-east of Ainley Peak, Kyle Hills, Ross Island. The steep rock bluff face marks the eastern end of a mound-shaped and mostly ice-covered elevation, 1km north-west of Detrick Peak. USGS Satellite Image Map: Cape Crozier (1:25,000).

Pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice is hereby given of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa to assign new intended place names or alter existing place names, stated in the first column of the Schedule below, to the respective places described in the second column of the said Schedule.
Objection to the proposed new or altered place names may be given in writing, setting out the grounds for objection, to the Secretary of the New Zealand Geographic Board, care of Land Information New Zealand, Private Box 5501, Wellington, within a period of three months from the date of the New Zealand Gazette containing this notice.

Stream located in southern Kakahu Forest, centered between Geraldine, Pleasant Point and Fairlie, flowing generally south-westerly then south-easterly from its source, south of the microwave reflector along Benmore Road, into the Kakahu River, Topographic Map 260-J38 Geraldine, from GR 576 768 to GR 578 708.
