Price Terrace

77°19′40″S Latitude, 161°18′00″E Longitude. A relatively level ice-free area c. 1.5
square kilometres between LaBelle Valley and Berkey Valley, Cruzen Range, Victoria
Land. The terrace rises to 1250m, about 750m above Barwick Valley close at south.

Ringer Valley

77°15′00″S Latitude, 161°51′00″E Longitude. A hanging valley between Kuivinen Ridge
and Stone Ridge, Saint Johns Range, Victoria Land. The lower and middle portion of the
valley is occupied by Ringer Glacier, which flows north to Miller Glacier; the upper
(south) portion is mostly ice free. Topographic Maps: Victoria Upper Lake (1:50,000),

Salyer Ledge

77°17′12″S Latitude, 160°49′35″E Longitude. A bold flat-topped ridge (1300m) at the
western end of The Fortress, Cruzen Range, Victoria Land. Topographic Map: Webb

Shulman Peak

77°18′33″S Latitude, 161°22′30″E Longitude. A peak rising to 1400m, 1km south-west
of Sponsors Peak, Cruzen Range, Victoria Land. Topographic Map: Victoria Upper Lake

Spain Peak

77°17′54″S Latitude, 161°41′40″E Longitude. A peak rising to 1450m on the west side
of Deshler Valley, Saint Johns Range, Victoria Land. Topographic Map: Victoria Upper

Stone Ridge

77°16′00″S Latitude, 161°52′45″E Longitude. A ridge surmounted by Mount Swinford,
1550m, extending south-west north-east between Ringer Glacier and Dahe Glacier,
Saint Johns Range, Victoria Land. Topographic Maps: Victoria Upper Lake (1:50,000),
ST 57-60/5 Taylor Glacier, and ST 57-60/6 Ross Island (1:250,000).

Tilav Cirque

77°19′10″S Latitude, 160°57′30″E Longitude. A cirque on the north-west side of McLean
Buttress in The Fortress, Cruzen Range, Victoria Land. Topographic Map: Webb Lake
(1:50,000).

Victoria Upper Névé

77°16′00″S Latitude, 161°05′00″E Longitude. A névé with an area of c. 25 square
kilometres at the head of Victoria Upper Glacier, Victoria Land. The névé lies between
Clare Range and Cruzen Range eastward of The Fortress. Topographic Maps: Webb
Lake, Victoria Upper Lake (1:50,000), and ST 57-60/5 Taylor Glacier (1:250,000).

Webb Cirque

77°15′00″S Latitude, 160°45′00″E Longitude. A prominent cirque at the head of Webb
Glacier, Victoria Land. The cirque is bounded by Vishniac Peak, Skew Peak, and Parker
Mesa and is occupied by the névé of the Webb Glacier. Topographic Map: ST 57-60/5
Taylor Glacier (1:250,000).

Welch Crag

77°17′08″S Latitude, 160°36′37″E Longitude. A steep rugged peak, which is marked by
secondary spires rising to 1500m in the north-east part of McSaveney Spur, Willett
Range, Victoria Land. Topographic Map: Webb Lake (1:50,000).

Wendler Spur

77°22′30″S Latitude, 160°58′30″E Longitude. A rock spur that descends north between
Albert Valley and Papitashvili Valley in Apocalypse Peaks, Victoria Land. Topographic
Map: Webb Lake (1:50,000).

Wise Ridge

77°16′09″S Latitude, 162°00′00″E Longitude. A sharp-crested ridge, 6km long,
extending south-west north-east between Dahe Glacier and Willis Glacier, Saint Johns
Range, Victoria Land. Peaks on the ridge rise 1200-1525m above sea level. Topographic
Maps: Victoria Upper Lake, Lake Brownworth (1:50,000), and ST 57-60/6 Ross Island
(1:250,000).

Wreath Valley

77°22′32″S Latitude, 160°49′30″E Longitude. An ice-free valley between Lazzara Ledge
and Conway Peak in Apocalypse Peaks, Victoria Land. It is the western-most in a group
of four aligned hanging valleys. Topographic Map: Webb Lake (1:50,000).

Other United States of America Names for the Ross Sea Region

Bordogna Plateau

83°18′S Latitude, 165°19′E Longitude. A high triangular plateau in south Holland
Range, Shackleton Coast, approximately 70 square kilometres in extent and varying
from 3000 to 4000m in elevation. The plateau is bordered by steep cliffs, and by Mount
Lloyd on the north and Clarkson Peak and Mount Miller on the south. The abrupt
southern cliffs rise 1200m above the Bowden Névé. Topographic Maps: SU 56-60/14
Mount Rabot, and SU 56-60/15 Mount Elizabeth (1:250,000).

Castellini Bluff

78°09′S Latitude, 167°10′E Longitude. A rock bluff rising to c. 500m between Dibble
Bluff and Mount Nesos in western White Island, Ross Archipelago. USGS Satellite

Costa Spur

73°08′S Latitude, 169°10′E Longitude. A prominent spur 6km south-west of Quetin
Head, Daniell Peninsula, Borchgrevink Coast. The spur descends eastward to Ross Sea
and marks the southern extent of Mandible Cirque. Topographic Map: SS 58-60/6
Coulman Island (1:250,000).

Davis Bluff

78°09′S Latitude, 167°35′E Longitude. A rock bluff rising to 400m, 4km north-east of
Isolation Point in eastern White Island, Ross Archipelago. USGS Satellite Image Map:
