Notice of Granting an Open Aviation Market Licence
Pursuant to section 87U (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990,
sections 41 (1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and
to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated
22 September 2004, I give notice that John Gibson Bradbury,
Deputy Secretary Access and Services in the Ministry of
Transport, having received an application from Polynesian
Blue Limited, of Apia, Samoa, has granted that airline an
open aviation market licence to carry on scheduled services
and non-scheduled flights for an indefinite term with effect
from 14 October 2005.

Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 87J (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990,
sections 41 (1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and
a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated
22 September 2004, I give notice that having received
an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister
of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled
international air service licence held by that airline in order
to provide for:
- in respect of Canada, the right to carry own-stopover
passengers at San Francisco; - in respect of China, the right to operate three
combination services per week to points in China; and - in respect of Niue, the right to operate one B737 service
per week.
Any person wishing to make representations to the Minister
of Transport relating to this application must forward
those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry
of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington, on or before
11 November 2005.
