Classification and Vesting of Reserves

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserves described in the Schedule as recreation reserves and vests the reserves in the Hamilton City Council, in trust for that purpose.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve and Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation over the recreation reserve described in the Schedule and declares the land may be disposed of by the Upper Hutt City Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
