Nomination and Voting Papers for School Boards of Trustees Elections

Pursuant to Regulation 18 of the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations 2000, I hereby approve the following nomination papers and voting papers for use in the circumstances specified:

1. Standard Nomination Paper: Nomination paper for use in all elections except when a board opts into the mid-term election cycle in a triennial election year;

2. Opting into Mid-Term Election Cycle Nomination Paper (Triennial Election Year Only): Nomination paper for use in an election for parent representatives for use only when a board opts into the mid-term election cycle in a triennial election year;

3. Standard Voting Paper: Voting paper for the election of parent representatives to a board of trustees except when a board opts into the mid-term election cycle in a triennial election year;

4. Opting into Mid-Term Election Cycle Voting Paper (Triennial Election Year Only): Voting paper for the election of parent representatives to a board of trustees for use only when a board opts into the mid-term election cycle in a triennial election year;

5. Staff Representative Voting Paper: Voting paper for the election of a staff representative to a board of trustees;

6. Student Representative Voting Paper: Voting paper for the election of a student representative to a board of trustees; and

7. Combined Board Parent Representative Voting Paper: Voting paper for the election of parent representatives to a combined board of trustees.

The notice entitled School Trustee Elections published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 February 2001, page 332, and the notice entitled Amendment Notice for School Board of Trustees Mid-Term (Staggered) Election Nomination Form published in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 June 2002, page 1902, are hereby revoked.
