Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Severance — Napier-Hastings Motorway, Hastings District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated the 7th day of July 2004, taking land for severance at Napier-Hastings motorway, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 July 2004, No. 87, page 2188, by deleting the words:

"and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register 101711, subject to mortgage 507692.2"

from the recital and replacing them with the words:

"and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 101712".

Road Realignment—State Highway No. 1, Crichton, Clutha District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT12C/1268, subject to mortgage 730834.5 and subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987.
