Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Corrigendum—Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

In the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette,
29 February 1996, No. 19, page 653, amend the following.
Within the notice, it shows the area of the reservation as 336
and 300 square metres to now read 211 and 138 square
metres, and amend the description of the areas as follows:

Taranaki Land District

Schedule

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an
urupa, to be known as Opanake 1B1B for the common use
and benefit of Hiri and Emily Moengaroa Morunga and their
descendants.

North Auckland Land District

Schedule

All that piece of land situated in Block XIII, Tutamoe
Survey District and described as follows:

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose to
preserve the bush and mahinga kai, to be known as Waina
Hone Tana – Harding Reservation for the common use and
benefit of the descendants of Waina Hone Tana.

North Auckland Land District

Schedule

All that piece of land situated in Block XIII, Matakohe
Survey District and described as follows:

Notice Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court,
the land described in the Schedule hereto set apart as a
Māori reservation by corrigendum notice published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 10 February 1994, No. 11, page 726,
is hereby redefined by setting aside an area of 1597 square
metres, being part of the land for the purposes of an
urupa for the use of the whanau and descendants of the
Whakamarama marae whanau, with the residue of 7980
square metres to remain for the purposes of a marae for
the people of New Zealand.

South Auckland Land District

Schedule

All that piece of land situated in Block XVI, Puniu Survey
District and described as follows:
