Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and
to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,
Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares
that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby
acquired for road and shall vest in the Western Bay of
Plenty District Council on the date of publication of this
notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Land Declared to be a Reserve

Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the
Invercargill City Council hereby notifies that the following
resolution was passed by the council on 21 May 2002:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section
14 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Invercargill City
Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said
city in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be and the same is hereby declared to be recreation
reserve within the meaning of the said Act to be added
to Queens Park.”

Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Invercargill City
Council hereby classifies those parts of the reserve
described in the First Schedule as recreation reserve, and
further classifies those parts of the reserve described in the
Second Schedule as local purpose (museum) reserve, subject
to the provisions of the Act.
