Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation
In accordance with section 37 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation has granted the following exemptions from the Civil Aviation Rule requirements:

4/EXE/90:
61.105 (2) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act.
4/EXE/91, 4/EXE/92 and 4/EXE/93:
61.35 (a) (1) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act.
4/EXE/94, 4/EXE/95 and 4/EXE/96:
61.153 (a) (2) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act.
4/EXE/94 – R. J. Franklin, 4/EXE/80 – E. Smith and 4/EXE/81 – R. Crossland:
61.153 (a) (2) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act.
The notice of the grant, withdrawal or denial of exemptions with provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
The main rolls are printed for each electoral district to enable members of the public to check them. The rolls list electors who are enrolled on a date specified for the closing of the rolls. This notice specifies 20 August 2004 as that date. The rolls will be printed as soon as practicable after that date.

Notice of Making of Electricity Governance Amendment Rules (No. 5) 2004

Pursuant to section 172I of the Electricity Act 1992, I notify the making of the Electricity Governance Amendment Rules (No. 5) 2004 (“the rules”).

The empowering provisions for the electricity governance regulations in relation to which the rules are made are sections 172D (2) (a), (b) and (e) of the Electricity Act 1992.

A brief description of the nature of the amendment follows:
This amendment is to update the rules relating to properly given dispatch instructions for the dispatch of generator reactive power and generators maintaining voltage.

The amendments are made in reliance on the urgency provisions in section 172E (3) of the Electricity Act 1992.

These rules come into force on 2 September 2004.

Copies of the rules may be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Governance Board (also known as the Electricity Commission), Level Seven, ASB Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.
