Under section 72 (3) of the Employment Relations Act 2000, the Minister of Labour has delegated the power to approve courses for Employment Relations Education (ERE) Leave to the ERE Advisory Committee.

Declaration Extending State of Local Civil Defence Emergency

Pursuant to section 55 of the Civil Defence Act 1983, I, David Robert Christison, hereby extend the state of local civil defence emergency declared in respect of the Whakatane Township on 17 July 2004 and the Whakatane District on 18 July 2004.

The extended state of local civil defence emergency shall be effective until 4.00 p.m. on 26 July 2004.
