Notice of Granting of an Open Aviation Market Licence

Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act 1990, section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, I give notice that John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Air Services in the Ministry of Transport, has exercised the power conferred by section 87U of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and granted to Pacific Blue Airlines (NZ) Limited of Christchurch, New Zealand, an open aviation market licence authorising the airline to operate international air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between points in New Zealand and points in Australia.

The licence was granted with effect from 26 January 2004.
