NZ3.7 Audit Mode Access (Ref NS 1.23.3)
The following clause replaces NS 1.23.3:
"The gaming machine must not be playable while in Test mode or Audit mode. If coins or notes or tickets are inserted they must be rejected (except during coin, ticket or banknote acceptor testing). The software must return to the state immediately preceding entering Test or Audit mode when the mode is exited."
NZ3.8 Last Play Information Required (Ref NS 1.25.4)
Sub-clause f) of this section shall be replaced by:
"f) the total number of credits added (separated into coins, banknotes, tickets and cashless) since the end of the previous play and through to the end of the last play."
The following sub-clauses shall be added to this section:
"l) where the game is part of a multi-game machine selection, the game name must be displayed; and
m) the prize table must be accessible from the last game replay screen."
NZ3.9 Communication with Jackpot Controller (Ref NS 1.28.1)
The Authority will consider communication of linked jackpot information and control of linked jackpots to/from gaming machines and the external jackpot controller via "wiring harness" interfaces. However communications from the jackpot controller and monitoring system must be protocol based.
Where a wiring harness is used to interface a gaming machine to a jackpot controller, the equipment hardware must provide for the following signals:
a) Credit Bet (EGM => Controller);
b) Jackpot Hit (EGM => Controller) β Mystery Jackpots excluded;
c) Machine lockup (Controller => EGM) β Mystery jackpots excluded provided both audible and visual indicators that a jackpot has been won are operational at all times the jackpot is played.
NZ3.10 Gaming Machine Faults (Ref NS 1.29.3)
Substitute the following for sub-clause a):
"a) all player inputs except a Service Button must be disabled including coin and banknote input and ticket validation;"
Add new sub-clause as follows:
"e) if the gaming machine was printing a ticket, the EGM must where possible cease printing the ticket and print \"VOID\" on the remainder of the current ticket and print another ticket with the word
