Win up to XXXXX Credits on a Selected Lit Line
1.40.13 This indicates the maximum prize that can be won on a selected lit line. The total prize awarded as a result of a play could be greater than the XXXXX prize since a variety of prizes can be won on different selected lit lines.
Play 1 to XX lines.
a) Bet 1 to XXX credits per line.
b) Play up to XXXX credits.
c) To start the game press one of the XXXXX buttons:
1.40.14 The button that starts a game (bet per line button or number of lines played button) is specified to avoid confusion. The maximum number of credits that can be bet is also displayed. If some of the above instructions are obvious from the artwork displayed in the button panel or video screen then some of the wording in the above statement can be omitted.
Winning Patterns
1.40.15 The section below contains numerous examples of inclusion/exclusion wording relative to scatters. It is impossible to list all the combinations of references to scatters thus game designers are responsible for the construction of appropriate variations.
All Pays Left to Right Only including Scatters
1.40.16 All prizes are awarded for 1, 2, 3 or 4 of a kind from left to right or 5 of a kind.
All Pays Left to Right except Scatters
1.40.17 As above, but the winning patterns for scatters are specified separately.
All Pays Left to Right and/or Right to Left
1.40.18 Prizes may be awarded for 1, 2, 3 or 4 of a kind in a sequence from either sides, or 5 of a kind. If "And" is used this is to be interpreted that coinciding wins on each payline are to be paid if there is no specific coinciding wins statement.
All Pays Left to Right and/or Right to Left except Scatters
1.40.19 As above, but the winning patterns for scatters are specified separately.
All Pays for Two or More Adjacent Symbols, including Scatters
1.40.20 Prizes may be awarded for 2, 3 or 4 of a kind beside each other, or 5 of a kind (on a payline or scattered whichever is applicable).
All Pays for Two or More Adjacent Symbols, except Scatters
1.40.21 As above, but the winning patterns for scatters are specified separately.
Any
1.40.22 Prizes are awarded for symbols of a kind, mixed symbols or other patterns, in any position (on a payline or scattered whichever is applicable). The wording best of any is not mandatory and should not be used if coinciding wins are added.
Of a Kind
1.40.23 When a number of symbols share the same prize scale the wording "of a kind" is used to indicate prizes are not awarded for mixed symbols. The wording "of a kind" is preferred to "of a kind pays", to avoid a possible misinterpretation of a prize with the numbers indicating the winning pattern.
Mixed
1.40.24 Any Mixture of the symbols X, Y, Z appearing on the payline (or scattered if the symbols are scatters) and according to the specified paying pattern will win the indicated prize.
