The Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students) Notice 2004

Pursuant to section 4D of the Education Act 1989, I give the
following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited
    as the Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign
    Students) Notice 2004.

    (2) This notice will come into effect on 1 January 2005.

  2. Fees to be reimbursed by boards to the Crown
    Every State school (other than an integrated school) must
    pay to the Secretary for Education a fee of $900.00 in
    respect of each foreign student enrolled at the school.

  3. Revocation—This notice revokes and replaces the
    Education (Board Fees Reimbursement for Foreign Students)
    Notice 1997, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 May
    1997, page 1127.

Alcohol Advisory Council Act 1976

The Alcohol Advisory Council Levy Notice 2004

Pursuant to section 27 (1) of the Alcohol Advisory
Council Act 1976, the Minister of Health hereby gives the
following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Alcohol Advisory
    Council Levy Notice 2004.

  2. The rate of levy payable under section 28 of the Alcohol
    Advisory Council Act 1976 for the year ended 30 June 2005
    shall be as follows:

    Beer

    1.17c/litre plus G.S.T.

    Spirits

    38.51c/litre of alcohol plus G.S.T.
    for spirits greater than 23%
    alcohol by volume and 7.06c/litre
    plus G.S.T. for spirits not more
    than 23% alcohol by volume

    Fortified wine

    7.06c/litre plus G.S.T.

    Unfortified wine

    4.32c/litre plus G.S.T.
