Amending a Notice Acquiring a Right of Way Easement for Telecommunications Purposes—Rangitumau, Masterton, Wellington District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated the 2nd day of December 2003, acquiring a right of way easement for telecommunications purposes, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 December 2003, No. 169, page 4687, by:

(a) deleting the words "to be forever appurtenant to the land described in the Third Schedule" from the head recital;

(b) deleting the Third Schedule to the notice;

(c) amending the heading to read "Right of Way Easement in Gross for Telecommunications Purposes Acquired—Rangitumau, Masterton, Wellington District";

(d) amending the head recital by deleting the words "right of way easement" and replacing them with the words "right of way easement in gross".

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 6 and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portions of road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3):

(a) The land firstly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register 41B/281;

(b) The land secondly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register 31A/700 subject to mortgage B280631.5;

(c) The land thirdly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register 22C/731;

(d) The land fourthly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register 20A/291 subject to mortgage 5277358.3;

on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve, and Appointment of the Auckland Regional Council to Control and Manage a Scenic Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a), and appoints the Auckland Regional Council to control and manage the reserve for scenic purposes.
